What is Radio frequency ablation?

Radio-frequency ablation is an advanced method of pain treatment. Radio-frequency current is an electrical current with high frequency usually 300 to 400 KHz. The Rf needle is placed over the Nerve and then Radiofrequency is applied over the nerve. This blocks the pain signals and provides a pain relief for a long duration. 

Multiple types of radio frequency are used for pain management, Conventional radiofrequency, Pulsed radio-frequency, cooled radiofrequency , bipolar radiofrequency etc.
